London airports - (Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted &
City airports)
There are 4 main airports in London, these being (Heathrow,
Gatwick, Stanstead and London Luton). There is also
the small London City airport. Heathrow is probably
the easiest airport to get to from central London. Alll have their pros and cons and all are viable options. More information on each airport below.
Gatwick airport
Gatwick which sits South of London, is a great airport with its two terminals and facilities. Although not as busy as Heathrow, Gatwick airport serves literally a hunfred plus airlines and you can fly to any corner of the world from Gatwick.
In terms of getting to Gatwick, there are numerous bus services linking the airport with central London and also many other destinations in the UK. You can also get to Gatwick via train with the train station linked to the main airport terminals.
Heathrow

One of the busiest airports in the world, Heathrow airport with its five terminals, is a massive airport which will also get you to pretty much anywhere in the globe. Heathrow airport London has the added benefit of access via the London Underground and this makes getting to Heathrow arguably easier overall, than Gatwick - at least if you are coming from Central London. British Airways base most of their flights out of the newest terminal, Terminal 5.
Stansted

Used more so by budget airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet, London Stansted airport is also a possibility if you need a flight in or out of London, England. You can often get cheaper flights into Stansted airport.
